Finally started on the model. Still very rough but im getting there. Gonna need a lot of help on her face..

so this took way longer that i expected, very good exercise tho :D

got back in shape with my modeling (at least in maya), messed around with uvlayout, textures etc.Getting final render was the hardest thing, trying to figure out all the setting and what not was such a pain >_< anyways... i did it. Ready to move on.

ok, so here is just a little experiment, tried to give my fancy cartoon bug-head a body. Meet Lady Silvia, nasty spider that adores Tiffany because she just looks so delicious.

Trying to make my bugs look cartoony, idk if its working or not, but im giving them some personality at least. Going to work some more on the ones that i like the most and actually give them a body of some sort.

So, here are some bugs. going a bit realistic here, trying to get use to drawing different insects until i actually start deforming them and making them look cartoony.

Tiffany

So, so far this is my main character for my senior project game idea. I might play around with the style a little, but so far i like her. Tiff is a little girl that got lost in the forest, she is trying to find her way back to her grandmother. She is a very curious little girl and LOVES bugs/insects, but not all of them. Some bugs scare her, and some really mean ones will even try to stop her from getting to her grandmother, so Tiffany will have to fight them. Along her journey she will collect many smaller insects that she will use to fight the big mean bugs, or just because they look cute <3
